silent but not secret

the great surrender
will not be
to any opposition,
but to the service
of my own conduct,
and disciplines of the heart,

gifted to the uncountable,
silent but not secret,
private but not withheld,
noticed but not named,

sustained in a world of lines
by seeing it in curves,
through soft and watery tears.
