Born and educated in British Columbia, Diane is an award-winning honours graduate in Commerce & Law and a Certified Executive Coach. Starting her career with Ladner Downs (now Borden Ladner Gervais), Diane was soon recruited by a Los Angeles, California firm focused on aviation defense law. Diane has litigated in a variety of arenas including personal injury, municipal, commercial and employment law. Throughout her career, Diane became well known and respected for her driving courtroom presence and conscientious team work ethic.

In addition to practicing law, Diane has been involved in the start up and management of two successful entrepreneurial medical ventures including her husband's current surgical practice in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Diane has managed all aspects of these businesses including planning, contracting, professional support, policy and staffing. As an experienced entrepreneur, Diane brings a wealth of practical knowledge in conflict resolution, communication, public speaking, strategic planning and financial management.

Diane works now with senior level professionals and executives providing executive coaching services and creating learning leadership cultures through a shared practice of coaching. Diane's "no-nonsense" style allows her to truly engage her clients - challenging assumptions and fostering personal growth. Diane is skilled at bringing people together in challenging dialogue and facilitating hard-hitting group processes.

Diane loves gourmet cooking and is an avid tennis player, skier and runner. Diane lives on Vancouver Island with her husband, Bill and their two sons.
