A variety of leadership experiences allow Bradley to bring unique value to any project he is a part of. Prior to becoming a Partner of The Roy Group, Bradley served as the Executive Assistant to the Attorney General of Alberta. Bradley has had the opportunity to work closely with individuals faced with significant leadership challenges and opportunities.
Working with clients in the political, public, private and non-profit sectors to find clarity and move meaningful projects forward is the mission behind Bradley's work.
In his most recent role with the Office of the Attorney General, Bradley worked with the Office of the Premier, Cabinet Ministers and senior government officials to coordinate the development of Alberta’s crime reduction strategy an initiative that President Obama's Deputy "Drug Czar" Thomas McLellan referred to as a model for the rest of the world. Bradley worked with the Attorneys General from across the western provinces and the federal government on issues of intergovernmental cooperation and legislative reform. He worked with Alberta's Chiefs of Police and Solicitor General to build a coordinated strategy to dismantle the business of organized crime. He worked with nine government ministries to raise the profile and build innovative programs to address the root causes of crime.
Within government, Bradley also served as the Executive Assistant to Alberta's Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing. In this capacity he led the office that developed Alberta's 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness.
Prior to joining government, Bradley practiced law with a Calgary-based international law firm Macleod Dixon LLP. As a member of the commercial real estate team, he worked with clients engaged in some of the countries largest land development projects.
As a consultant Bradley was engaged by the award winning Leadership Centre, Columba 1400, on the Isle of Skye Scotland for its inaugural year of programming. Bradley worked closely with his brother and the Columban staff to develop a leadership program that could be replicated numerous times throughout the year, that created value for funders and communities and that would firmly establish the organization for excellence in the modern Scotland.
Bradley studied economics at McGill University and law at the University of Calgary where he was awarded the 40th Anniversary Senate Award for outstanding contribution to academics and community. Bradley graduated with an International Baccalaureate from the United World College - USA in Montezuma, New Mexico. Bradley and Taryn currently live in Edmonton. Bradley is an active member of the Law Society of Alberta.
